John and Michelle
Hello! We're so very glad that you're celebrating our marriage with us. We have plenty of dishes and cutlery, sheets and towels. We count ourselves very blessed to not need anything that can be bought at retail. So, please don't feel obligated to get us any gift at all. Your love, prayers, and thoughts are what we want most. Really. The things on this list are just frivolous wishes.
Waikoloa Village, Hawaii
Hawaii County, Hawaii
John's been wanting to try horseback riding. Might as well be in Hawaii (and with experienced tour guides)!
A night out of Hawaiian music, dancing, and perhaps a few cocktails.
A helicopter tour of active lava flows. A chance to see an active volcano up close -- but not too close!
We've had South Carolina BBQ, Kansas City BBQ, and plenty of Texas BBQ. All good choices, but Hawaiian BBQ is something special.
The catch of the day and a glass of wine!
Palm trees, ocean breezes, open highways -- and no LA traffic! Married or not, the open road calls, and John wants a day to see the Big Island via Harley.
What could be relaxing than a week in Hawaii? A massage in Hawaii! ! John can hit the open road on a Harley, but Michelle would much rather be enjoying a massage.
With skewers of fruit and umbrellas, of course!!!
No legal briefs. No case law. No public policy reports. The beach is a paperback-and-fashion-magazine-only zone!
You can't go all the way to the Big Island of Hawaii and not pick up some Kona coffee!
After a morning run, nothing quite beats pastries and (Kona) coffee.
John gets a ribeye. Michelle gets seasonal fish wrapped in proscuitto. An excellent combination all the way around.
A cultural tradition that Michelle will participate in with all the grace of a dash-board ornament, but a girl can try!
We could, of course, take uke lessons is on our oh-so-hipster neighborhood, but this is way more legit!
What's a honeymoon registry?
Wanderable is a new and unique honeymoon registry that allows wedding guests to gift
meaningful and memorable experiences to a newlywed couple.
Similar to a traditional registry where the couple registers for gifts,
couples will create a Wanderable registry website where guests can choose a thoughtful
experience to give based on their unique relationship with the couple.
Couples who choose Wanderable want a beautiful experience to help begin their journey together.
A marriage is about the experience of life and the journey you are just beginning together.
Wanderable believes that this is at the core of marriage. And the only way to help a
couple celebrate this is to provide a meaningful wedding gift of one of the first experiences
of this journey together.
Wanderable helps couples get started on their journey by providing a unique way for
guests to give more than a thing, but a gift of a new life experience the couple can share.
We believe that experiences can be made into memorable gifts, that feel as real as receiving
any other gift you can unwrap.
