Ariel and Joseph
Welcome, friends and family! We know this is a little unusual, as far as registries go. However, even though we would love to have enough blenders and pot holders to fill a moving van, we won't be settled in a real home for quite a while. We're going to be working on licensing and grad school, moving around and following dreams. In addition to our more traditional registries at Bed, Bath & Beyond and Target, we wanted to have a honeymoon registry that would allow us to a) have a spectacular honeymoon that we will look back on, nostalgically, for years to come b) avoid moving around the state/country with a giant moving van. Seriously, moving is the worst. So take a look and see the adventures we've got planned! The wine country doesn't know what's about to hit it.... (We love you all!!)Austin, Texas Glen Ellen, California Napa, California Oakland, California
We don't want to sprint from the reception to the airport, so we're going to lay low in Austin for the night! Home sweet home
We are setting off on our grand adventure bright and early! We'll be flying from Austin to Oakland, sipping tiny cocktails and munching on peanuts. (Possibly arguing over the window seat)
We're not going to laze about all weekend-- it's time for self improvement! So we'll be off to a cooking class to learn all about Napa cooking. (Do Napa cooks cook differently? We'll find out!)
How is a smitten couple supposed to wander the extensive countryside without some wheels? (More importantly, how are we supposed to get out of the airport?) We'll need a little car to get around......
While we're in Napa, we'll have lots of opportunities for wine tastings, walks through vineyards, tours of the wineries... and lots of non-wine related activities we haven't thought of yet. (Bike r...
We will be staying in the cutest cottage in California (try saying that five times fast.) It's got a private garden and only one set of guests at a time! There will be lots of delicious breakfast t...
It Is a honeymoon, after all. I suppose we have to find a few snug little restaurants in town in which we can gaze dreamily into each other's eyes... (Unless we stayed too long at the vineyard. In ...
And in the end, we need to get back from our weary wandering. We'll be returning home to start the actual married-life stuff, like writing thank-you's and buying the trash cans we thought were too ...
